While I was in New York City I had the pleasure to meet and hang out with one of the finest trumpet players I have ever seen! Her name is Nadje Noordhuis and she is a musician who lived in Australia until 9 years ago where she moved to New York and has been taking the scene by force since she got there. I was lucky enough to catch the CD pre-release party while I was visiting and could not say enough good onto the performers as well as the compositions themselves.
